Beehive Ottensii foliage grows 3-5' with flower stems emerging from the ground beneath the foliage starting out as medium to dark brown 'shampoo ginger' type blooms and turning into crimson spires as they fully mature. They bloom summer and continue well into the autumn. They prefer morning sun with afternoon shade.
